Going to Mille Lacs Tomorrow. HELP!

Looking for some guidance. My brother and I are headding to Mille lacs tomorrow and I dont know where to go. I am looking for some general ideas. I'm taking the portable so I can go wherever. Any Ideas? Thanks.

Well, we just got back from the Sunset bay area on the east side of the lake and didnt have much luck - not sure if its the entire area or just our bad luck.  I guess it was a generally tough weekend for fishing.
I think the bite is a little better on the west side - I would look more into that side.

GOOD LUCK UP THERE!  The ice conditions are very nice and 'roads' are pretty well plowed in most placed.

get away from the crouds on the flats.  find the steep drops on the flats and fish 10 to 15 feet off of the edge of the bottom of the drops.

We were fishing 30ft, and it seemed a little deep - we were marking fish, but nothing would bite.  I had a feeling they were already feeding in the shallower water.  I think around 15-20ft is probably a good depth.

 :fishing2:  Are you targeting mostly perch, or are you thinking Perch during the day-ish and walleye at night?!

Went out off Pine Island on Saturday...caught a couple perch and a nice walleye. We were fishing at about 20ft. Everything was caught in the morning (before 9:30). It was a dead sea the rest of the day. One of the guides we ran into said it was like that everywhere he checked too. He thought we might be hitting the slow season up there now. Perch were all small, had the camera out in the afternoon and we saw a couple, jigging seemed to scare them away in the afternoon. Everything we caught was off of gold spoons and small fathead minnows. Seemed to have no interest in larger setups. Hope this helps!

A co worker was up on sat and they were on 3 mile and did pretty good.  They caught a bunch of perch and 8 walleyes.  Not sure how deep or what they got them on
