A little chilly this morning.  I met Mtcommer at a gas station by Bald Eagle.  We picked a spot  close to where I fished before.  Not a soul around us.  Checked with the vex through the ice and saw fish so we were good to go.  The auger is not working right but still better than hand drilling.  Just like last time fish had no interest in minnows.  Waxies were the ticket.  Crappies were not biting too well but the sunfish were.  We managed a few real nice ones.  Action was pretty consistent.  The bite for the most part was pretty light.   I fished outside.  Not a problem with the coonskin.  The breeze started to pick up and the clouds rolled in so my fingers kind of quit working. I originally did not plan on keeping any fish but they would flash freeze.  So I released the ones that would go.  Ended bringing some home for dinner.  I wanted to get some pics but the camera again froze up pretty quick.  Mtcommer was going to stay for awhile longer.  It was fun to meet him.   I started out with the daphniminnoe.  It worked great for a while.  I then switched to a mini 47.  That was the most productive for me. I didn't use any eye drops but I think MT. was using a white one.  Over all I would rate it as a  :dancinred:  ;D

Indeed!   :happy1:  The wind started to pick up, but I caught my limit of sunnies just in time, I also caught an ellusive crappie.
It was great meeting Scott, class fella, especially for not making me drill my own holes with my hand auger  :toast:.  It was pretty chilly, Im not sure how he survived sitting out on the ice - it must have been the coon skin hat.
Fishing was very steady even after he left and he put us right on some fish  :fishing2:
Here are some pictures that I snapped.  I just stuck with the white Eyedrop with he red eye, it was working all day, so why switch it up.

Bald Eagle is in the White Bear Lake area.  South of Hugo and North of White Bear Lake on highway 61.

Hunting is not life and death. It is more important than that.
