Did any one fight the crowds for a must have special?  I got up at 5 am and went to the local Menard's to get a Aqua cam made in Minneapolis MN it was on sale for 79.99 after a 5.00 rebate. It seem to be pretty good quality . time will till. ;)

I've never done the black friday thing, until today!  The Mrs. and I decided at the last minute (last night) to give it a shot and see what it's all about.   For those who have never gone it's about one thing----"ME".   It's all about pushing, shoving, no respect for anyone, & in some cases name calling as well as all the things we were taught in grade school NOT to do.    ::)

My main purchase was to be a computer, after all the b.s. I got to the register to find out the lil snot (employee) who told me it was the one on sale lied!    So I let them have it back, and still walked out with a couple of portable DVD players for each of them.   I did manage to walk away with some other good buys (awesome savings), but I am undecided if it was worth all the hubub.  If I do go next year-I'm wearing football pads! And bringing a pig shocker along! ;D

I saved 10% on a timber jack at norther hydraulics. I cut allot of tree's down for side jobs and land management. But have never tired one of these, does anybody have any experience with them?

Also thumbs up to Menard's the only store  I found with replacement blades for a pruner/pole saw

Dropped off the lady friend at Office Depot to get the $299 lap top, she was 50th in line and almost everyone around her were in line just to get that lap top.

They said minimum per store was 10 and that's exactly what they had.And the lap top was a refurbished to boot.
It was a ploy to get people in the store and that's all they wanted.

I went to Kmart and found very few people there, but they were open Thursday and had most everything in the ad on sale then.

But I did get a MP3 player and a couple portable DVD players to put in the truck and car.

After dropping her off at work I had to go to Rocky Bay to do a bird hunt, stoped in a Forest lake GM to see if they had any thing left.

They were sold out of all the good door busters, but I did get a 3MP digital trail cam for $99.99, a Daisy Red rider for my daughter, a camo thuermous, and a few other items at half price.

I to hate the bad attitudes but if you realy want something for cheap, you just have to forget your manners and shove back.
