Ely Area Lakes Are Now Open
99% of the lakes in the Ely area were ice free as of yesterday. 
Burntside is one of the last lakes to open every year, and had a few small ice sheets in one area at 6 last evening.
But with these strong winds, the entire lake should be wide open at this time. :happy1:
The water levels are high, and all things should be a good to go for the opener.  :fishing2:
