Youths invited to archery event in Kellner

The Central Wisconsin Chapter of Safari Club International invites local youths to attend SCI's third annual Youth Archery Day scheduled for June 4 at Antler Archers in Kellner. A cooperative effort of the Safari Club International and the Wisconsin Rapids Kiwanis Club, Youth Archery Day will be filled with outdoor activities that include archery lessons, a 3D shoot and the Safari Club's Sensory Safari Trailer. Also included are door prizes, refreshments and lunch.

Safari Club International is a world-wide leader in wildlife conservation while providing value to its members by supporting policies and legislation that protect the freedom to hunt locally, nationally and internationally. An important part of the hunter's code of ethics is improvement and maintenance of good hunting skills. The Annual Youth Archery Day is organized to educate and acquaint area youth with skillful, sound, responsible hunting behavior.
