Better late than never report.  :bonk:

I've been getting out with clients a lot, but just haven't kept up with the reports this year. I've also had to cancel a few more trips than the average season so far due to June storms and high winds. Also I had motor issues and lost four more trips waiting for a part. :banghead:

Anyhow, the recent patterns seem to be about a week behind prior years. Were not having to search the deep to find game fish since they are still holding consistently in 12.5 to 18 ft. Best methods have been keeping on the SLOW MOVE in high potential areas with drop shot and Carolina rigs working well. Old Uncle Rocky has managed to greet us in every location we've fished unfortunately "You can run but you can't hide".

Look for the majority of the bass to start moving into the deeper water in the next week or so with the warmer weather forecasted. Don't hesitate to use that anchor as the water temps begin to rise and the bass begin to school up and travel in pacts. Anchoring on the edges of the major food shelves is a great system. You'll be able cast deeper on one side and shallower on the other side enabling you to cover various depths from the same location.

Here's a few photos from this week:

See ya on the water

**During your time on earth, you shouldn't be afraid to do something that's not in the exact path you originally chose, especially if it includes allot of fishing...
