Right now I have a Trophy hunter "shaky hunter" drop away rest, problem is the arrow is very hard to hold in place while the lifter is down.

I just saw in Cabela's that they make little snap in holders for the arrow while the rest is down.

I have a whisker biscuit setting on the shelf not being used right now too, should I switch out the rest or just buy the snap in holder?

that is your call. if you're not sure try them both and use which one you like. bows are not like guns in the fact they are set for a specific person to be as acurate as possible. so experiment and use what you find best. i know people that swear by both, and if you hunt with a drop away its almost need one with a slot to hold the arrow imo.
my wife said it.... im OFFICIALLY ADDICTED to MNO!!

Have you given any thought to a full containment rest like a QAD or Ripcord? That style would meet both of your needs of containment and drop away. I personally shoot a QAD and wouldn't shoot anything else.

Can't go wrong with either.... I to use a QAD as well
The whisker Biscuit will get the job done, not as acurate on longer shots but will work just fine.

I use a Ripcord and it keeps the arrow in place when I still hunt.  The only issue is keeping the second arrow in place after a missed first shot.  lol

Thanks for the info, the issue I have is the arrow bouncing all around when walking or even while drawing it back till the rest picks it up.

I have seen the containment units but never tried one.

Just started shooting the bow after a couple years off, it was set up for me at Sportsmans Wearhouse by Ben.

I picked out the equipment based on articales in the magazines on each, then had Ben set it up.
Had a motorcycle fall over on me pinching my wrist under the tank so it was too hard to pull the bow back till it healed up.

Now I need to get it tuned up and get my self tuned up to shoot.

if you are going to do alot of walking its hard to beat the whisker because you dont need to check if your arrows still on because you know it is
