Excellent fishing continues in the areas around the Bridges reefs.  Plugs are still producing the best results.  Bait fishermen in this area are catching fish, but more patience is required.  A jig and a shiner in 27 to 29 feet, or trolling/drifting with a crawler harness should do the trick.

Near Pine Island, results have been a little more sporadic.  We have had some promising reports from anglers using jigs and shiners in 25 to 30 feet of water.  As the weather cools and the fish start to move, this bite should become more consistent.

After a warm stretch of weather last week, it was due to cool down.  Highs in the 50s dominate the upcoming week.  There will be some wind early in the week but should get nicer towards the weekend.
