Had all month to hunt turkey :happy1: but never had one closer than 75 yards  :cry: and that was as I took supper off the grill.

Went out today to do some maintenance on the trails and wouldn't you know it, 7 of them walked in front of me at 40 yards then stayed about the same distance ahead of the tractor for 100 yards. :banghead: :banghead:  :banghead:

Might have to sell all my turkey stuff and take up drinking :tequila;

I know how you feel - That has been the story of my turkey hunts the last 2 years.  Seen lots of birds, but they never want to get close enough for a good shot.
I will be on new land with more birds next season!  I am still waiting to get one of those elusive birds on the ground!   :banghead:
