With one year ending and another just starting I would like to share with you my one and really only resolution, simple but it can have meaning. Listen to your parents and if you are lucky enough to have your grand parents around listen to them. They have stories to share that should be heard and past on to your kids and grand kids. In turn you have stories to tell of the "Good Ole Days" which are happening right now. An afternoon of fishing with a son or daughter will be a story of adventure a few years from now. Add a few decades to it and it becomes a story of folklore. There is never a bad fishing trip or a terrible hunt, with time they all become good memories and at worse a lesson. Time spent sitting on the deck chatting with Elmer about stories he lived fifty years ago is time never considered to be wasted. Your kids may not want to hear them now, but they will later, especially if they are in them. Have a happy New Year

It is not how many years you live, it is how you lived your years!
