8 miles of ice road

[pray for the fish]

That opened some territory! yesterday on the Agassiz road, we staked and dragged the road all the way out to rocky pt., about 8 miles. We have a bridge at 3 miles, then another 5 miles of staked road. Excellant ice all the way, about 16". Now we just need someone to find that first school of crappies. There was a couple spent the night out there about 5 miles out last night, I'll see how they did ,later.

good to hear that the ice is thick enough for more travel,
are you the first out that way or have others ventured out also?
much snow on top or is she pretty clear of snow, if so cooler weather should bring on even thicker ice quick.

So far no other bridges from any other access.Not much snow, a little where it drifted up by the small ice piles. Haven't heard anything this week on donnie, last week he said he was closing and trying to sell to the indians, so who knows what will happen there for sure.
