I think the season is over for the year in the west metro.  I was really busy this year and only got out a few times.  I thought I would share a few pics and what I look for.  South facing hills are my best spots.  My grandpa always said that the giants always hid in the grass.  It took me a long time to get what he ment by this statement. Here are a few pictures that show what he meant. Find dead elms.  My best elms this year all had at least one branch that still had leaves.  These same tree will produce for the next couple of years.



Anything that is free is worth saving up for.
