My Lowrance x-85 has been discontinued as well as its replacement the x-87.  I am going to have to bite the bullet and put lipstick on a pig.  Any suggestions for the best place to find a good new locator at a good price.  I have not decided on the price range yet.  I just don't want to get raked over the coals.  I will be going to Hummingbird because of the lakemaster/Hummingbird connection.  Thanks for any comments you may have.

Reed's in Walker has always had the best prices I could find..at one point they were the largest sellers of fishing electronics in the US.

Thing is you need to find a sale to really get any deal below the suggested price. I bought my 597ci hd di  at a spring boat show for about 150.00 off. Check the net for prices, Marine General in Duluth has a web site and are a pretty good with mid summer sales.
