The Minnesota Barefoot Waterski Association will be holding its annual learn to barefoot waterski clinics on the weekend of June 2nd and 3rd 2007 on a private lake in the north Twin Cities Metro. This clinic is already 50% full and is expected to be sold out by the end of the January 2007, as it often is after the Minneapolis Boat Show. No prior experience necessary and all equipment will be provided at no additonal cost. Cost of the clinic is $60 for a half day session (four hours) with the limit of four students per session. I know  guy that does this. in fact, he water ski's barefoot while driving the boat!
 it is the craziest thing to watch.
I guess the guy who taught him, taught him to barefoot ski while holding onto a pole attached to the boat so he could get used to skiing along side the boat, then he made the transition to driving the boat while outside of it.

I probably know the guy you are referring to. Its a pretty small circle of people who are involved in the sport.

Is Greg Buell and/or Mark Youngdahl still involved with the assoc.?  Or are they getting to old for such a young guys sport?
