I took my son, his son and his wife fishing this weekend.  I didn't fish much as I was the guide and boat operator.  They had a great time we got lots of crappies and northerns.  Biggest northern was 32 inches.

Very nicy crappies.  As a kid they were my favorite fish to catch. Still lots of fun but it can be hard to find big ones like you guys caught. Thanks for sharing.

Wow nice Crappies.  Since I have never fished for crappie this time of year, do you look for them suspended or are they still in the weeds?

We fished near emergent vegitation around sunken islands in about 10 feet of water.   We used live and plastic minows fishing about 4 feed down in 10 feet of water.  And yes, ALL the fish were returned to the lake.
