I took my brother in law turkey hunting this morning.  I have to say it was my expert calling that pulled him away from a hen.....  But then again, I must admit I'm the best turkey guide I know.
I'm not sure how many we saw this morning because they would come and go.  We watched a hen for 45 minutes and then a tom and hen for over an hour.  They were up by my camper, looking in the back of the pickup.  Later two jakes and the tom came strolling down the field.  They were too excited about the decoys.  I took the picture of the two jakes after my brother in law shot the tom.

22 pounds, 10.5 inch beard, 3/4 inch spurs

These two jakes need another year or so.

Brother in law and his expert guide.
