I mentioned in my last report that I thought the bigger female walleye should be mostly done spawning in my area and they should start to come on the bite and that is exactly what is happening. I guided two twin brothers from Columbia Missouri Tim and Jim Grace to two day limits of all there overs along with all of there under bonus fish for as good as you can have limits with them even releasing some over fish and catching and releasing conservatory 70 fish a day for an easy 18 inch avg size fish. These guys were bass fisherman and spent the whole trip pitching Gulp/jigs into 1fow to 5 fow and just had a great time and took home a full passion limit of 48 walleye for the two of them. Day three there luck ran out with the weather and due to 30 mph winds we finished their trip on Sharpe catching limits for them but fishing btm bouncer minnows or jigs/ gulp in around 10 fow. Some smallmouth and some northern pike are also being caught around the lake but I haven't heard much about salmon. Fishing is excellent. but weather can still be Spring related.
