I'm by Willmar,We plan on trying the Chain for catfish after the long weekend.
I never tried it does anyone have any advice of where to try to get some cats. The winter holes I know of, but summer for me now is a challenge.Theres so much water there with 5?to 8? lakes,A starting point would be nice to have.
Without any advice I think I'll start close to where the Sauk enters,But by the ColdSprings dam area sounds good also! There miles apart-------Anyhelp?

Try near the 22 car bridge between Horseshoe and Cedar Island.  I caught several while trolling for walleyes.

I did not measure the ones I caught, but I had one that was in that range and the rest were smaller, probably 14" range.

No thanks.  If my skills ever diminish that much where I can't catch a walleye, just push me over the ledge.
