At least some writers are speaking up...now,little late as the damage is done,its madning everyone dances around the real issue,its the GILL NETTS,and of course our dnr won't call it as they see it to avoid a court case from the tribe,same thing happened on red lake,the indians drained the lake of walleyes with gill netting,they had (still have) a comercial fish processing plant up there after we tax payers fixed the lake,it took millions of our tax$$ to do the job.

GLIFWC hasn't change anything, including the mesh size of the nets for years. The nets have gone in the water at Malmo Public Access and their COs are on site (for a change)
Of course OURS are nowhere to be found. They must be hanging out in their "professional fisheries management" office building, someplace.
