Locked and loaded...

I have the blinds up to take the kids out turkey hunting....I do the calling, and they do the shooting!

It's a great way to have some kid time with the old man!

Kids young enough for that new license?? Is it a free one or hunt any zone? I read some about it,didn't stick because it dont apply here.
 How many birds can you take? You gonna take one? Good luck iffin yah can use the calls and know how to, it should be a success! LOTS a birds! Great way to get the youngsters involved in the outdoors ! something so many lost or don't get exposure to anymore!!

Should be a great time there HD.   I did the same yesterday.  I set up two about a quarter mile apart.  I may set up another in a wood pile about half a mile away.


This one is set on pinch point of a long narrow field.  Lots of birds
have been taken here.  By the time I start using it, the foliage on the brush
will almost make it almost invisible.   
 



First time for a blind in this location.  It's set back in
the woods a bit because the turkeys often follow the
wood line and I didn't want to be too close.

The bird pic is nice you need a closer up? a different camera? When I saw the pine trees, white pine upfront I believe,I wondered what part of the state.Where were you huntin?
