Look what I found

After cleaning my daughters ducks I also cleaned their gizards.  I found LEAD shot in both ducks.  How common is this and is it safe to eat the ducks?  The BBs didn't stick to a magnet.

Hmm and to think I thought ducks were only fit for dog food.  Now I'm not even sure about that.  Maybe have to use them to bait traps.

   No worries.  It would be different if you found the duck sickly and unable to fly.

Might have been bizmith or tungsten shot. Bizmith won't stick to a magnet but not sure on the Tungsten. Had a CO wanting to write me up one year because my shells wouldn't stick to his magnet. Had to show him the boxes that were not opened before he said he would give me a " verbal warning" about using lead shot .
