The walleye were suspended between 3 and 6 feet below the ice today. I think they were teasing us into thinking they were crappie. They had my hopes up a couple of times. The bite was slower than normal, but still increasing. The fishing should be a lot better today with the higher temperatures.

The ice condition is between 20 and 24 inches. I'm Still hearing rumors that we are not driving on the ice. That is not true. The pressure ridge settled a little today, I expect it to heave today with the warmer temperatures.
