South Shore Report 1-26

The Walleye bite is pretty good.  The shore bite  7-10 fow is doing well in the AM.  There is a better bite on the center hump for walleye.  Jr's Access has a road plotted to the hump.

The crappie bite is still not that great.  I think the reason we are not seeing the crappies on the south shore at Jr's is that the fisherman are very focused on the walleye bite.  A couple of fisherman have had some luck with crappie.  I suspect the crappie bit will pick up when walleye season closes.

I looked at the reservation book.  There are still sleepers and cabins available this season.

  I sure wish I could get up there and scout around out there.  I think they are out of JR's, we just need to get out and look around.  Earlier we were looking around and saw alot of rough rough ice out there.  I believe the crappie swim on the south side also!!!
