   COTTAGE GROVE - A Cottage Grove man drove his SUV through his house early Wednesday morning after a fight with his wife, police said.


Michael Aaby, 38, was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and domestic assault. He's jailed and awaiting charges.

According to Cottage Grove police, the incident happened around 2:20 a.m. in the 8100 block of Ideal Avenue. The man reportedly drove through the garage wall, into the family room and out the back of the house through glass sliding doors.

He then drove through a fence and returned the car to the garage before fleeing, police said. Officers found him nearby hiding under another vehicle.
