I have a replica musky mount that I would like to display in my garage, is there any problem with the colder temperatures affecting the graphite?  I wouldn't think it would be a problem as the garage is heated to 45 in the winter...anyone else have mounts in the garage?  What about a bear rug in there?

Replica fine. Bear rug not the best. Any big temperature swings and moisture affect leather. Think of this extreme. Your wet leather boots tossed over a heat duct to dry. How do they feel the next day? Stiff and tight. Now your rug will not see this extreme but same thing just on a smaller scale. Humidity in my shop now is like 15%. Come mid July it can climb up to 60%. That is in an air conditioned space. Your garage most likely is not. You will most likely have some cracking in the facial area and mouth after time. Even in the leather is not out of question.
