They did so well last year (only lost one of 16) we decided to start another orchard this year.  We bought 19 bare root trees between 7/8 to 1.25 inch diameter.  They ran from 6 to 10 feet tall.

Picking up the trees from MDHA

Truck full of trees ready to go

Nothing like a little help planting

Better yet, a lot of help.  Get right in there boys

A job well done, well another job done.

The North Surburban Chapter has taken orders and sold them for the past 4-5 years or so.  The apple trees are $16 and plums $15.  I don't know which nursery they get them from. No deer or rabbit damage.

A couple weeks ago I took this pic of the ones we planted last year

Can you select what kind of apple trees you get?
