I have always wondered how good those mixers work.  They look like a pain to clean.  Since I only do 10 or 15 lbs at a time I just put on rubber gloves when I do my mixing so my hands don't get quite as cold.  If you get one let me know how it works.

When I was working we used a 100 pound mixer.  With that amount you definatly need this mixer.  Ya they took longer to clean but we had power sprayers so it didn't take long.  After many years of being in this buissness and handling cold stuff, my hands don't do well with cold stuff.  I still mix by hand up to 25 pounds.  The larger the batch the longer you have to mix if doing by hand.  Buying one is on my list.  Probably get one that does at least 25 pounds so I could do that amount or smaller.  If the mixers can be broken down to clean it should be no problem.  I would think that is the case.  So If I had surplus cash on hand, I would put that toward the 25 pound mixer and pay the balance.  Great tool to have.  good luck.
