Pulled Pork For The Trip

Got the two pork butts all smeared up with glue [mustard] and put my seasoning on them and they are now in the smoker.  Have to fill up my Amazin tube with cherry pellets and light them up so I can keep stuffing sausage and not have to worry about filling up the chip tray.  Going to make up a batch of sauce later today.  Pulled pork for the trip.  good luck.

Update.  Went out to the smoker after an hour and a half and the temp was only 90 deg with the tube smoker in there.  So that temp was mostly from the tube smoker.  German brain says my electric element is shot.  So I'm not that upset at the smoker, but I did want to get that love from the smoke.  Had my smoker for a few years and I worked that smoker a lot.  So I'll order another element from Masterbuilt.  Now the two butts are in the oven.  good luck.

RH you sure have patients.  I myself would have threatened it with a big hammer.  9 times out of 10 it usually works

I just took the butts out of the oven and are now under foil for a rest.  Then I'll pull the meat once it gets cooler.  good luck.
