Actual crack in a US Airways DC-9 window frame!

Fliers beware of the sub standard maintenance on the airplanes that you fly on.
This is an actual crack that was found in the window frame on a DC-9.???
I'll definitely think twice before flying USAir ....

this isn't funny, if you look closely you will see some loose nuts as well.

Upon closer inspection you can see an electrical problem that's caused a brown out effect just above the loose nuts area near the center of the crack.  :P

.....it is also apparent that this crack has been neglected for a long time as evident by the lint and debris that has accumulated in the crack.

How in the world were you able get your eyes close enough to see all that stuff in da crack? ???

You best check your eyes in the mirror for traces of toxic residue just to play it safe. Actually, your nose may have also come in contact as well.

It's amazing what spirit & teamwork we have here at MNO. People have been willing to work together as a team to research what started out to be a simple crack in a window.

This is why I'm proud to be a member of MNO. I think I'm gonna cry :'(
