Well, with the temps rising, and the snow depth receding (dare I say it) it's time to dig out the boat and start prepping it for spring.  I've got to go in for a couple hours this morning, as one of my opticians is sick, and there's no one else to open the store, so it's on me.   Some lunch with my wife, and then time to go to work on the the old boat.  If I get up on the top rung of my ladder, I can all most see it behind all the snowblowers, patio furniture, deer stands,  and other miscellany from season's gone by.  'Guess it's time to put the Christmas decorations up in the kook's nest.  Easter stuff too.  It will just feel good to be doing something that represents the change of the season, a harbinger of things to come.  Kind of like the change represented by the tulip bulbs breaking ground.  This long winter is finally coming to an end.
