Bourdain and "Me too" babe.

SO I have always thought the Bourdain suicide seemed suspicious.  Now it really seems like there may be more to the story.  SO how about this angle.  His "ME TOO" leader/girlfriend got rid of him after he put up the 800 thousand for her bribe to the kid she had sex with.  She did not want him to leak the deal to the media.  That makes a very believable scenario to me.  We shall see.  Any other ideas?

Maybe, but back on July 6, everyone was reporting that Bourdain's net worth was only 1.2 million at the time of his death.

That's a lot of money to me, not so much for a national celebrity and global jet-setter. 

Personally I think the despair and feelings of futility that comes along with a mid-life crisis had everything to do with it and his girlfriend's legal issues were small taters.

All this judging what a person may have been thinking or feeling after they have passed, I find  totally reprehensible. ie; "what really killed so and so" shows....Leave it be. Period.

At first thought I would agree with you, let it be.  But then maybe, just maybe we can learn something from a one incident the would help use recognize and possible help someone in a similar situation.  Just a thought.

Input is good, and learning from it is good, in the vein that it may help someone in the future. But after all I've seen in my line of work, I still feel "let it be". You can learn from it, but taking it back to the personal level and splatting it all over public news and scrutinizing a persons life is NOT the way to do it, IMO. Think of family members/friends and what they may be feeling.  But, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, right?

We can learn about Clinical Depression and that it is not something to be messed with, but needs to be taken seriously.  Self medication etc will not do it.
