Heading to Oakdale tomorrow (Friday) to shoot the artillery, if anyone's interested  in matching up there.  I'll be there by 9 a.m.  I like to get a good range session in before it gets much closer to the opener, as it  just gets too busy up there.  Always nice to run into some of our members.

I had a good day at the range.  Very few people shooting.  I pretty much had the place to my self.  If you gotta go, try to go on a weekday.  It's a lot less crowded.

I may have mentioned this already Gopher but when I lived in Stillwater a couple of buddies and me would go there and shoot clay pigeons.  We were the only ones doing that.  Everyone else was target shooting.  Fun as heck.

Very late with a reply here, but I haven't shot clays in ages.  I live right by Mn. Horse and Hunt and another range, and never go.  I just know if I got started I'd end up spending way too much on a trap gun and have to explain it to my wife, and by now, she's heard every excuse for why I need another gun.  She ain't buying it.
