My pond is a little bigger than an acre. There is Crappie, Sunfish, Bass...maybe a Pike or 2 and a carp or 3....

All I know is what I've caught...Crappie, Sunfish, Bass.

The beavers dammed up the creek, and caused the water flowing from another lake, down the creek to overflow into my pond.

The Sunfish average around 5 to 6 inches, the Crappies are around 7 to 8, and the Bass are around 10 to 12.

The pond itself, only has a spot about the size of a Buick that is 15 feet deep. The rest of the pond is 6 to 8 feet deep.

Sooooooo....to keep it from freezing out, I have an air pump in one of my out buildings with a 1/2" air line underground, to a lead core hose, to a diffuser head to aerate the pond.

Here's one that "The General" caught while fishing in my pond...
