Yesterday I checked out my apple orchards. I've been planting apple trees for a while now and it
looks like there doing pretty good.  I ordered 5 more this year to replace any that may not made
it over winter but they all look pretty good.  Maybe I need to start a fourth one.  ;)
The trees need to be protected or the deer, mice and rabbits will surely kill them.
It's a bit more work and expense but well worth the cost and effort.
