Kids are using the wood lathe I  bought at Christmas.   Here is my sons lamp.  I think it is made out of elm that has a little spalting.   Now he needs to drill a hole through the middle.

I still have the tables I made in the 70's on my lathe! Show most kids a lathe nowadays, and yer likely to hear "What's that?!"

I made a gun cabinet out of ash.  Still have it.  Also made one of those note pad things that you put a roll of paper in from an adding machine for grocery lists.  Gave it to my Grandma.  I got it back years ago when she died and now I use it daily.   :happy1:
