Time to start using the CRP

Back about 15 years ago I put some land in CRP and planted pines, oaks and other trees.  We never really hunted the area but being I had and extra tripod stand I figured we would give it a shot this year.  Yesterday I put seat cushions and some camo wrap on it and sat in it for a bit just to get a feel for what it would be like.  You are a bit exposed by can see a long way all around so should work out for rifle.

That should work.  Do you see any sign that deer are using the row of pine trees as a travel corridor or preferred bedding area? 

I used to hunt a pine tree farm and the does felt real safe and secure in between and amongst the rows of trees.

Gee D.E. it looks a little wobbly,but agreed spectacular view 360 as long as it's not to windy.

Yes they absolutely do use the CRP. I see them in it all the time.  Last Friday morning I watched three different deer two does and a buck go into the CRP presumably to take a nap.

Not wobbly at all but yes very exposed to the wind.
