Sorry I didn't get here sooner. Ate some bad food the other day and haven't done a whole lot cept lay around the last couple days.

Went up to the pond to haul the shack back . Was going to meet up with SOS for a toast and to make morning fishing plans. When I talked to him he said he'd be there about midnight. Well I sat and toasted while waiting until They kicked me out.

Managed to sleep in a bit the next morning and figuring they had already went out on the Ice, decided I'd get going home early. Tried to crank up my house and the jack was froze. >:( Then I notice that slab has just gotten to the landing (he was picking up and cleaning over at Russ's) Anyhow with slabs help got my truck hooked up to the shack. (the jack wasn't froze up, it just sank into the sand about 15" and was already all the way down ???) I decided that I'd just head home early anyhow. The one nice thing I did notice was the cheapest gas I seen was at Washkish when I filled up. ;D Made it all the way home without a glitch until I went up my driveway. Taking the corner a bit too tight the shack went into the soft dirt around the corner. Simple fix take the tractor and pull me out, oh rats the tractor is in getting fixed. Why is it people do things like that at the most inoportune times? Well nothing really happened to me on red all season. I guess the triangle just had to follow me and when I got home just had to give me a reminder of it's power.

If ya want to hear how the fishing was up there I don't know that I'd recommend SOS either. He had so many garbage bags he was planning on filling, I think the only reason he put the auger and minnows on the trailer was for camaflauge. ::)

Have you heard how SOS did that day?

I was with him last year on April 9th.
He tells me the fishing wasn't as good this year.
But ... at the end of the day, ... when it was time to get off the ice, ...
the ice conditions near the shoreline proved to be exactly the same as last year (somewhere between waist deep and knee deep).

I've therefor sent a note to Mrs SOS, informing her that
"This year for Christmas she should consider giving him a pair of pontoons with an attachment for fastening them to the ATV"? :o
