Has anybody gone to western ND to hunt mulies?  I am wanting to go next fall and am wondering what I need to do to get a license?  Lottery?  When you have to put in for one? How much the license is? etc.

My step dad went out there this fall. Got a 4 x 4. Anyway I'll let ya know later on the answer to some of your ?'s.

Oh would you be using a bow or a gun? I think it might make a difference if it's a lottery or not. Also are you looking at using a guide or not.

U may want to check out Utah (I think)instead can get over the counter if the quota isn't met.

No mule deer hunting allowed while using a gun. You can get a lic to bow hunt them they had a quota of 800 and never sold them all.

I noticed they give 6 license for the whole state for bighorn.  You'd have a better chance on winning the powerball.

I thought the licenses for bighorn were auctioned off to the highest bidder? The way I heard it was that all the proceeds went to the bighorn management program. Maybe that was only when they had one sheep license.
