Joe Pickett, a good watch

For those of you who have Paramount + watch the Joe Pickett series. It's based on the C. J. Box book series about a Wyoming game warden. The first couple episodes I thought they terribly miscast Pickett. But it is really good as they get into it. Those of you who read the books remember Romanowski as a blond guy with a pony tail. This one is a black guy....takes some getting used to. Give it a look.

I have watched them and  have listened to a handful of the Joe Pickett audio books. I spend quite a bit of time driving and have been listening to audiobooks for years. I’m currently about an hour and a half away from finishing “Trophy Hunt” which is about number 5 or 6 in the series. Also have listened to four books of another C J Box series. Good stuff.

Trophy Hunt is actually number 4 in the Joe Pickett series. The other series by Box that I’ve listened to centers on a female LEO with 6 books in that series.

$12/month for Parmount + is well worth the money.  Cheap entertainment.  Bass Reeves is also a good series on there. 

Joe Picket I was also not so sure of during the first couple of shows but then it came together.  Good show.
