I am getting more and more excited for bowhunting next year. The suspense is already killing me and we got about 5 months till bear hunting and about 5 1/2 till deer so i am already counting down the days. That is pretty sad.

I hear ya man.  Just got a new bow in jan.  Can't wait to take it out hunting.  For now I guess I'll just shoot it at the range.

No wussy wheels for me ;)  I just got a new custom made Rivers Edge Recurve.  This is the secound one I've ordered from these guys.  Waited about 7 months for this bad boy.  This is a real pretty bow.  I got 2 sets of limbs.  49@30 and 53@30  If you want me to get in to details i can but I don't think anyone will no what I'm talking about.  If you ever want to go shoot sometime let me know.  We can go up to the Rapids Archery Range.  During the summer/fall they have a outdoor league every Tuesday and you just take the selected loop and shoot it (about 20 targets)  Goes all the way till fall when archery opens.

wussy wheels...??? ::) ;D

I still have my old stick bow, but I haven't shot it in years. I just bought a Reflex at the end of last season to replace the old round wheel. I haven't got to shoot it much, but so far I'm impressed.

I do admit that I shout wheels my first year.  Sold it after that and used one of my uncles recurves for a year.  Next year I ordered my first recurve and yet another year later I'm on my secound recurve.  The guys I shoot with all shoot traditional.  All about having FUN.  This stuff gets addicting!  Shoot every sunday night at the rapids archery range in a trad only league.

I couldn't tell ya. I'd have to clean off all the camo paint to find out. It was my dad's bow originally, and I used it as my first hunting bow. I shot it for many years. I can still shoot it, but the draw length is a bit short for me now.
