Luvnlife, one of my buddies in Owatonna did receive his letter from the DNR a couple weeks ago about his tree order. I think they wanted to hear back from him according to his letter by like the 15th of March or somewhere near then. I can double check with him and let you know.

That would be great if you could check with him. Last year we didn't hear until the day we had to pick the trees up. It made for a busy week-end. LUVNLIFE

Luvnlife,

I talked to my friend about the trees today. He said he got his postcard 2 days before the deadline to turn in your order, and he estimates that was about 3 weeks ago now. He did say, however, that when he was talking to the guy about ordering them, that they mentioned they usually have some trees left over that no one purchases so they sell them off to whoever wants them at the end. It might not hurt to call them and check it out but I think you missed the actual deadline for this years program. I hope this helps

I have gotten trees from the dnr that were left over. they keep them in this refridgerator trailer and they didnt want the expense of running the refridgerator unit any longer so they gave them away.
 I got all kinds.
planted them every where.
call me jiggle norway seed.
If I ever hear of that again, I will let you all know
take a kid hunting and fishing!!
