I'm guessing I'll be with my dad and my son on Girl Lake/Woman lake chain.  Last year we were rained out, which is ok.  My daughters' birthday is the 12th, and mothers day always seems to be on the same weekend.  So being rained out and spending it with Mom and my daughter wasn't too bad either.   :whistling:

This will the first time in 14 years that i take a day off of work and fish the entire weekend up North.

My ex wifes B-day is May 12th, Mothers day falls in there somewhere and my sons B-day is May 3rd. Now that i'm divorced, i'm heading North on Friday night and fishing until Sunday evening.

Good for you Spinach I hope you have a great week-end!! Personally we don't usually dock the boat on opener, too much traffic, I usually grab a couple of beers and fish off my brothers dock.  LUVNLIFE

I love opener...It is basically a fishing holiday best spent with good friends, cold beers, and warm bars ;) Now the fishing part......well, that can wait till the next weekend ;D

I always set my fishing hopes high for opener weekend...oh, this year i'm going to hit it hard, this year I am really going to catch a lot of fish, blah blah blah......Heck, trying to get out of the bay opening weekend is a headache all together, weaving in and out of boats. The weather never cooperates either. Now don't get me wrong, fishing Opener weekend is probably one of my top 3 favorite weekends/holiday in the year!! But if you think I am going to sit in a boat 12 hours out of the day....yeah right ;D
