I had this at a potluck at work and had to get the recipe!  Here it is.  It's DELICIOUS!

Cheezy Wild Rice Soup

2 packages diced ham (8 oz. each)
2 cans (4 oz.) mushrooms and juice
Wild rice (if regular - cook according to directions)
or use 1 pkg. Uncle Bens Wild Rice w/ seasonings
and 1/2 C instant wild rice
1 pint half and half
1 large onion - diced
carrots - diced
2 cans cream of potato soup
1 (8 oz.) jar cheez whiz
3 C. water

Simmer mushrooms, onions, carrots in the water.  Pour all into crockpot and add ham and wild rice (pour seasoning mix from Uncle Ben's in, too).  Cook on low all day and add 2 cans soup, half and half, and cheez whiz an hour or 2 before serving.  (Can also put it all in at once and just cook all day).  Add milk if it seems too thick.
