Maybe I'm alone, but I always loved this flick from the first time I saw it.  I never knew this was based on a real person.  Pretty interesting.

Seen the movie 100 times. Great flick. I remeber when I was young it seemed like it was always the Sunday daytime movie on channel 9! I guess I never really knew it was based on a true story or a real man.

This was a classic movie.  I enjoy watching it yet today.  That is cool that it was based off a real man.  It's pretty amazing that the guy lived to be 76.
