Training all breeds of gun dogs, but does specialize in pointing breeds and breeds English Setters. Steve began  training professionally in 1979 as manager of Dakota Hunt Club in Grand Forks ND, where at that time specialized in flushing and waterfowl gun dogs.

After starting Little Moran Steve began more work on pointing breeds which lead him to Burnt Creek Setters their gundog trainer for 5 years. The success with his setters was wide spread, conducting seminars and demos for the Grand National Grouse and Woodcock hunt In Grand Rapids MN and at the Grand National Quail hunt in Enid OK. In 1987 Steve started guiding Ruffed Grouse and Woodcock hunts, and still is today guiding hunters from the US, France, Spain and Germany.  ::cheers::  Holy Smokes   ::dancinred::  That did not take long.

What a great addition to MNO. That is a very short Bio at best. I've known The Grossman's since I moved back from Florida, and have had the pleasure to have worked for them. Not only was it one of the funnest job's I've ever had but also one of the most enjoyable. I have watched him in action training dogs more times than I can count.  Trust me when I say that it is probably one of the reasons of his success that he is so honest and up front. When he works with a dog for just a short while (Evaluation run) he can tell what kind of dog it's going to be as far as training and status in the Field. His knack for seeing the desire in the dog and reading if the dog is going to be a bird finding machine or just a average bird dog is a treat to watch in person.

I know MNO is some what new to me, but I can tell this is going to be one classy site.

::welcome::  Welcome to MNO Steve  ::cheers::

Thanks for all your kind words, I hope I can live up to them. Please don't hesitate to ask any type of questions regarding all breeds of gun dogs, picking a pup, feeding, training, gun introductions, bird work, waterwork etc. I can assure you this. If I don't know the answer, I sure have the contacts to help answer it. I too think this is a prett classy site and glad to be part of it. Thanks to the MNO Staff for their confidence in me. I can be reached at the lodge phone 218-894-3852, email: mail@littlemoran.com
