I don't know the Metro Lakes, but I would hope that some of our good friends here with knowledge can help you out with this DDR. Try checking the METRO AREA LAKES threads in the MN LAKES AND RIVERS forum for recent reports too as there may be some help with what your looking for in there too.  ;)  ::fishing::

I'll help you out here with a list of my favorite lakes in the metro area, I'm not saying they are the best, because i do have a few secret lakes that I will not share in public. Most of my secret lakes can not handle the pressure they would get if i posted them here.

Crappie - Chisago Area lakes, St Croix River, Minnetonka

Bluegill/Sunnies - Chisago Area Lakes, St Croix River, Minnetonka

Largemouth Bass - Minnetonka

Smallmouth Bass - Minnetonka

Northern Pike -

Walleye - St Croix River

Musky -

Carp - Mississippi River

Catfish- St Croix River

Gar -

White Bear Lake is good at times for all species, Bald Eagle is a great lake to take kids too, for quantity not size.

There are a lot of great lakes in the metro area, but these lakes are a good list to start with.

tonka pretty much for all the top ones with the river for the last three.

Minnetonka pretty much has it all... just need to learn the lake. and avoid the drunkin fools on the weekends. ::drunks::
