BIG STONE ? Bud?s Bait & Tackle, Greg or Jim Rasset (320-839-2480) There isn?t really a lot of fishing action going right now, we are gearing up for this weekend?s opener. There has been some shore fishing crappie action in the low flow area of the Minnesota River. With the water temps so high, it should be a great opener!

Between 18 people this w/e the total catch was 2 eyes and one lost. The weather was miserable and the fishing time was cut short due to wet soaked jackets. For the entire w/e there was about 5 hrs spent fishing, the rest of the time was spent warming up. When ur wet and cold and the fish are not biting it's hard to stay focused.

P.S. Only one was smart enough to remember a rain coat. ??? ???
