Walleye activity has picked up during the day, but peaks at sunset and beyond. Work Gull Lake, Pelican Lake, and Whitefish Lake with redtails and rainbows in 16 to 28 feet. Bass are hitting jigs on most lakes and some good-sized pike are hitting large minnows over 20 to 25 feet on area lakes.
