The walleye bite continues to be the best on Ottertail, fishing with suckers or cranks in shallow.  About 7 to 13 feet of water has been the best range.  The perch bite is picking up out there too, they are biting on fatheads.  The bite on Battle Lake has picked up a bit on cranks and crawlers in 7 to 12 feet of water and some out a little deeper, like 16 to 20 feet of water.  There have been some crappies caught in about 12 feet of water too.  A few muskie reports have been coming in; guys have been trolling with smaller crank baits.
