I check out all the hunting forums.  Not as much on water fowl cause I don't really have access, experience, or a dog that will for sure hunt (lazy good for nuthin -- aww I love her  ;D) but I do glance in there.

My faves are Big Game, Guns & Shooting  fudd.gif   and Archery --Ask the Pros.  I cant tell you guys how much I've learned reading those just from us regular Joes and the real pros.

I love the Saloon too; thats what got me hooked here at MNO to beging with.  Got some funny stuff there I tell you what - I just did.   ::cheers::

#1 out of em all is the archery/bow hunting.

I really enjoy the Big Game Forum, especially from early Sept til Dec, when everyone is getting revved up for Deer hunting season, enjoying deer season, and then reminiscing about their deer season and sharing adventures and pics with each other.

I did get into the MN Lakes & Rivers forum quite a bit this summer too as my son and I were getting started fishing together. It was great to read the recent reports from the areas we intended to fish, but also to catch others reports and familiarize myself with different parts of the state and what was/is going on in those areas.

Sad indeed. I have a couple thoughts on that. The main one being I think your posts get kind of lost down there in no mans land. I wonder if there is a better place to put your posts. Maybe in the "Open Water Fishing" section. They'd be much easier to find.

Of course if too many people start reading your posts - and you become a star - a MNO star. Can you live that way what with all the groupies and such? Look what happened to Phil Spector - the "wall of sound" got him.

Well I'm looking forward to the next Smallmouthguide Lake Geneva/BWCA report.

I like the upland bird forum to see what people are seeing where theyre goin, the gun dog forum, its cool to help out people with things youve already been thru, (I wish I had acsess to somthing like this when I just started the hunting thing!)  But the funnest is the Pout Shout/Pout fest forum, which is how I found the MNO site when hackers ruined the forum on the Poutfest site...Thanx to the MNO guys who so bravely took us pout heads under their wings! happy2.gif  -thunderpout 8)
